Until now, it was a secret how Hungarian hospitals were dealing with infections. Direkt36 has created and now publishes their ranking.

Kamilla graduated from the Budapest Metropolitan University in Communication and Media Science. She started her career at Direkt36 as a junior journalist. She mainly focuses on healthcare investigations, Sino-Hungarian relations and corruption. In 2023 she won the Transparency-Soma Award was shortlisted for the European Press Prize together with Zsuzsanna Wirth for their series of articles exposing the hidden situation of hospital-acquired infections in Hungary. She also works on documentaries. She was an editor and reporter on the documentary called The Dynasty, which won the Audience Award at the Press Play Prague Festival, earned the team the Economic Journalist of the Year award, received a special award at the 45th Hungarian Film Week and has reached more than 4 million views. As an editor, she worked on the documentary film called The Trap, which reached more than a million views in a week.
