The two winners are Szabolcs Panyi and Andr\u00e1s Peth\u0151, who revealed the details of an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.direkt36.hu\/en\/english-eu-investigators-probing-orbans-son-in-law-surveilled-sparking-intelligence-agency-infighting\/\">unprecedented secret service infighting in a story<\/a> that was published in December.<\/p>\n<p>They shared the Soma Prize with Zoltan Jand\u00f3 from G7. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time these two colleagues have received this award. Szabolcs won the Soma Award for the fifth time (three of them as a staff member of Direkt36), which is unique in the Hungarian press. For Andr\u00e1s, this was the third time to win.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, our colleagues Zsuzsanna Wirth and Kamilla Marton received the award for their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.direkt36.hu\/en\/category\/korhazi-fertozesek\/\">series of articles on the real dangers of hospital-acquired infections<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another work by Szabolcs was also nominated in the shortlist of articles highlighted by the jury this year. It was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.direkt36.hu\/en\/hiaba-alcazta-magat-orban-gaspar-igy-is-leleplezodott-titkos-afrikai-kuldetese\/\">piece on the role of G\u00e1sp\u00e1r Orb\u00e1n in the Chad military mission<\/a>, which he wrote together with Jean-Baptiste Chastand from our French partner the Le Monde.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This recognition is for our supporters too.
